Georgetown, Texas Living
Talk about a quaint Texas town gone wild. Seems like just yesterday Georgetown only had 5 lights in the whole city. It has grown and is very much a thriving area, yet it still retains the peacefulness and quiet that it has strived to be, now it just has more conveniences and amenities.
Georgetown, Texas growing in numbers
Georgetown is one of the fastest growing towns in Texas. Sun City, Georgetown helped achieve that status and has assisted in making Georgetown a point of destination. Although Sun City isn’t the only active senior community, there are several, but Sun City is the largest. It has 3 golf courses, miles of hike and bike, its own Fire Station and EMS services, 3 pools (inside and out), Crafts and wood working centers and the list goes on and on. My clients love Sun City – Georgetown.
What I like about Georgetown
I like the laid back lifestyle of Georgetown. It is still quaint and historic by my standards yet has plenty of shopping like Wolf Ranch and the downtown square area. Here, you have all the conveniences you could possibly want, yet it remains to feel small-town. I enjoy many of the family owned restaurants like Dos Salsas, Silver and Stone, the Monument, Carmines and the new Italian one named Tony & Luigis on Church Street. Georgetown even has its own theater complex that has entertainment and good food.
